No. Reflection is always invitational. A guest can place their handwritten response inside one of their lanterns and take it home without sharing it with anyone else.

What happens to the reflection after the dinner party?
The reflection can remain inside the lantern until the guest chooses to return to it. Later, they can relight the lantern, reopen what they wrote and notice what has changed since the original gathering.
